Los Angeles, California, USA. 29th July, 2021. The 25th Annual LA Art Show kicked off this year's event with an Opening Night Premiere Gala for VIPs and invited guests at the Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles. Despite the challenges of the ongoing pandemic situation, the opening night event was well-attended and featured over 80 exhibiting artists, galleries, museums, and art organizations from all over the world. The LA Art Show is one of the largest international art fairs in the United States and provides an exciting, cultural, and immersive art experience for visitors.
Singer/songwriter/actress Rita Ora
The official host of the 2021 Opening Night Premiere Gala was singer/songwriter/actress Rita Ora. In addition to her successful music career, Ora is known for her work as an actress in television and film, as well her role as a UNICEF Ambassador. With her love of art, culture, and fashion, Ora represents the next generation of art collectors and was a great choice as this year's representative for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital ® and the LA Art Show. She gave a presentation along with Scott Diament, CEO/President of the LA Art Show, Kassandra Voyagis, Director of the LA Art Show, and a representative for St. Jude's Hospital.

TV host Joey Zhou visited the show, talked to artists and guests, and did interviews for the Los Angeles Beverly Arts (LABA) and other media outlets. As LABA Blue-chip artist Jiannan Huang was unable to travel to Los Angeles, Zhou gave him a tour by video conference and included him on interviews so he could participate in the show virtually from his studio in Beijing, China.

Proceeds from the event will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. For the past six years, the LA Art Show has been a strong supporter as it leads the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Previously, all opening night proceeds had benefited the charity, but this year the LA Art Show is donating 15% all ticket proceeds to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
