Clara Lobel

Clara Lobel is a woman whose life reflects a journey shaped by elegance, discipline, and artistic passion. Born into a scholarly family in China and raised in Hong Kong, her early life was grounded in education, culture, and the arts. She built her professional career in business, focusing on international trade and real estate investment. Through determination and hard work, Clara achieved great success and received numerous awards and honors recognizing her accomplishments. She has been nominated for a Los Angeles Beverly Arts (LABA) Icon Award.

In 2000, Clara immigrated from Hong Kong to the United States. Entering a new country without interpersonal connections, she continued to work diligently while furthering her studies. Her perseverance eventually led her to obtain a real estate broker’s license. She later joined Berkshire Hathaway Realty, where she specialized in high-end real estate sales and investment. Clara quickly established herself as a top performer in the industry, ranking among the Top 10 in real estate sales for many years and receiving multiple professional awards. After a successful career, she retired from real estate to devote more time to her lifelong passion for the arts.

Clara has built a remarkable life guided by her passion for art and beauty. She has been fascinated by Guzheng, oil painting, and stage performance since she was a child, as the seeds of art took root in her heart early. In order to make elegance an instinct in life, at the age of 25, Clara went to the Italian etiquette school to systematically learn the essence of international etiquette and high-level life aesthetics. Flower arrangement, tea art, etiquette, exquisite life, and ritual sense have become part of her daily life.

Today, Clara's life is a symphony of self-discipline and creativity. Her weekly routine includes oil painting, yoga, Pilates, jazz dance, and golf — activities that nurture both physical well-being and creative inspiration. She has developed a deep appreciation for golf and continues to pursue oil painting through immersive studio practice, with each painting often requiring more than 100 hours of dedication and focus. For Clara, painting is not only a form of artistic expression but also the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.

In the field of music, Clara’s artistic achievements are equally notable. Eight years of Guzheng training have not only captivated audiences but also helped raise funds for charitable causes. She firmly believes that art is not only a self-cultivation but also a carrier for conveying warmth and interpersonal connections. Therefore, she has donated her oil paintings to charity auctions many times, turning love into tangible help and continuing the warmth of art.

Since 2011, Clara has served on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Chinese American Chamber of Commerce Foundation (OCCACCF). Each year, she helps raise funds for the foundation to support outstanding students from financially disadvantaged Chinese families in completing their college studies in the United States. Clara is also a generous donor herself and has contributed one of her own paintings to a charity auction.

For Clara, elegance is never a temporary decoration but rather the wisdom and cultivation accumulated throughout life. She likes to learn, live with heart, and be self-disciplined, and become a better self in every choice. Whether in art, sports, or on the stage and charity, she has witnessed the charm of reshaping oneself and the power of the elegant pursuit of dreams.
