The award ceremony was hosted by Princess Karen Cantrell. First, Princess Karen Cantrell introduced the famous artist and international art curator Marisa Cauchiolo, the founder of Building Bridge Art Exchange. As Ms. Cauchiolo plans and curates international art exhibitions, she has made a huge special contribution to the world art with the support of the Building Bridge Art Exchange charity organization. Dr. James Daichendt, a member of the Presidium of the Jury of the LABA International Arts Festival, presented Marisa Cauchiolo with the "LABA Icon Award". Later, Cauchiolo also gave an enthusiastic acceptance speech. She said that Building Bridge Art Exchange will continue to make its due contribution to the world art.

LABA Blue-chip artist Jiannan Huang
The first blue chip artist of "2021-2022 LABA Los Angeles Beverly Arts Festival", Jiannan Huang is also the first overseas honorary member elected by the first Asian artist of the Royal Society in 127 years. Since participating in the LABA Art Festival, in addition to the famous art critic and art historian James Daichendt, University of California, Los Angeles Fine Arts Professor Richard Wearn has written about Jiannan Huang's art and highly affirmed him many times. Others have also highly praised him - Todd Williamson, Chairman of the West Hollywood Art Committee, Homeira Goldstein, Chairman of the Manhattan Beach Art Center, and Robbie Conal, a famous street artist.
Due to the epidemic, neither Xinyong Wang nor Jiannan Huang could come to attend the awards ceremony. Harrison Engle, another recommender of Mr. Wang, accepted the award on his behalf. During the period, Mr. Engle and Mr. Wang had an international video connection. Mr. Wang gave a brief acceptance speech, and Mr. Wang's wife, a university professor of landscape design, Dr. Zhao, also gave an enthusiastic speech in English.

This impromptu congratulatory speech also brought the two cities of Los Angeles and Nanjing separated by vast mountains and rivers suddenly closer, and also pushed the entire award ceremony to a climax.
Joey Zhou, the founder of LABA International Art Festival, also established an international connection with Mr. Huang Jiannan. In particular, I asked why Mr. Huang recommended Mr. Wang for this honor. Mr. Huang does not shy away from his praise of this younger artist who is more than 20 years younger than him. It is believed that young artists should also actively participate in world charity activities. He hoped that Mr. Wang's award can give young and middle-aged artists a good lead. As a senior international artist, especially a well-known charity expert in the world art circle, Mr. Huang once again congratulated Mr. Wang for his award.
Approaching 12 o'clock, the "LABA Icon Charity Awards" award ceremony of the LABA International Arts Festival finally ended successfully.
