TV host Joey Zhou, who originally came from China, decided to get some assistance for improving his English diction and speaking skills from renowned singer/vocal coach Stephanie Spruill, at her Spruill House Music School and Artist Development studio in Altadena, California. Spruill welcomed him and Zhou presented her with a gift made by Los Angeles Beverly Arts (LABA) Blue-chip artist Jiannan Huang, a beautiful silk scarf with a vibrant pattern of one his paintings. Zhou connected them together by video conference, and Spruill graciously thanked Huang, who was located his art studio in Beijing, China.


Stephanie Spruill is a native of Los Angeles, and the founder of Spruill House Music School of Music and Artist Development. Stephanie is a singer/songwriter, master vocal coach, percussionist, producer, and the author of the book “17 Points To Longevity In Show Business.” Stephanie won The Global Peace Awards for her original song “Shine” from her latest Jazz CD, “It’s A Jazz Day.” She has completed over 1,400 recordings, and has Grammy Awards, Gold, and Platinum albums to her credits. Spruill has recorded with well-known artists including Michael Jackson, Julio Iglesias, Aretha Franklin, Donald Byrd, Elton John, and Quincy Jones. She has performed at the The White House in Washington D.C., as well as for many dignitaries and royalty around the world.

As Christmas approaches, major art centers and galleries in Los Angeles are also celebrating Christmas 2021. At 11 o'clock in the morning on December 15th, 2525 Michigan Ave #Unit F2 in Santa Monica ushered in an extraordinary charity awards ceremony—LABA International Art Festival "LABA Icon Awards".

First, Princess Karen Cantrell introduced the famous artist and international art curator Marisa Cauchiolo, the founder of Building Bridge Art Exchange. As Ms. Cauchiolo plans and curates international art exhibitions, she has made a huge special contribution to the world art with the support of the Building Bridge Art Exchange charity organization. Dr. James Daichendt, a member of the Presidium of the Jury of the LABA International Arts Festival, presented Marisa Cauchiolo with the "LABA Icon Award". Later, Cauchiolo also gave an enthusiastic acceptance speech. She said that Building Bridge Art Exchange will continue to make its due contribution to the world art.

The first blue chip artist of "2021-2022 LABA Los Angeles Beverly Arts Festival", Jiannan Huang is also the first overseas honorary member elected by the first Asian artist of the Royal Society in 127 years. Since participating in the LABA Art Festival, in addition to the famous art critic and art historian James Daichendt, University of California, Los Angeles Fine Arts Professor Richard Wearn has written about Jiannan Huang's art and highly affirmed him many times. Mr. Xinyong Wang, a professional artist living in America, has been absorbed in painting and calligraphy for more than 20 years. His artistic creations reflect the integration of Eastern and Western cultures, a rich pluralism, and his own independent style. Mr. Wang has successfully held painting exhibitions, lectures and exchanges in Beijing, Nanjing and Shanghai, Los Angeles, Santa Fe, and Taos; as well as the J. Wayne Stark Gallery at Texas A&M University, and other locations. At the same time, he is also the vice director of the Culture and Art Committee of the Jiangsu General Chamber of Commerce, and has been committed to promoting Sino-US cultural and art exchanges for many years.
