Beverly Hills, California, USA. 28th August, 2023. Chris Mann, a multi-talented singer, songwriter, actor, and comedian, has been nominated for a LABA Icon Award. Mann is a classically-trained singer who captivated audiences worldwide when he appeared on NBC's The Voice with his tremendous voice, engaging style, and comedic flair. With over 600 million views, his musical parody videos with smart-witted lyrics have entertained and dominated the internet since 2020. In fact, Chris was lauded "the voice of the pandemic" by the LA Times and was featured on news outlets all over the world including CNN, NPR, Today Show, BBC News, Vice, Funny or Die, The New Yorker, and many more. Chris' relatable, self-written and produced content has struck a chord with brands, celebrities, and millions of followers who have shared his videos hundreds of thousands of times.

Chris lit up a global audience with his 2012 post-Super Bowl XLVI performance on NBC’s The Voice which was watched by a record-breaking 37.6 million viewers. His chart-topping duet with superstar Christina Aguilera solidified him as one of the most unique voices in the history of the show. He was featured as "Best of the Year" on NBC’s New Year’s Eve Special three years in a row, where he performed and appeared as a commentator for the show.

In 2022, Chris appeared alongside Seth Rogan, Sebastian Stan, and Lily James in Hulu’s Emmy-winning miniseries, “Pam and Tommy,” playing Motley Crüe’s legendary guitarist, Mick Mars. He can next be seen in S3 of "The Morning Show" on Apple+ opposite Jennifer Aniston. Mann is no stranger to the spotlight. His albums Roads (Universal/Republic Records) and Constellation hit #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart and appeared on the Billboard Top 200 and iTunes charts. His much-anticipated fourth studio album is underway in Los Angeles produced by 2022 Grammy Album of the Year producers, Autumn Rowe and Kizzo.

Chris' genre-bending songwriting and vocals are in a league of their own and continue to prove why he's considered "the favorite new, male vocalist on the planet" by The Today Show. With a mix of Big Band, 808's and soulful pop, Mann's live concerts are as entertaining as they are musical. Continuing his meteoric rise, Mann then starred in his own concert and holiday TV specials for PBS, Chris Mann In Concert: A Mann For All Seasons and Home For Christmas. Riding the wave of success, he toured to sold-out audiences across America, Mexico and Asia.

As one of the most sought-after talents in music, television and on stage, Mann was personally cast by Sir Cameron Mackintosh and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber as The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera's 25th Anniversary Tour. Mann donned the iconic mask for over 700 performances with critics hailing him as “the best Phantom since Michael Crawford.”

Mann has performed with the National Symphony for President Barack Obama, at Lincoln Center, with the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, headlined at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and has performed on Ellen, The Today Show, The Late Late Show with James Cordon, and Conan, among others.
