Phoenix New Media North America and Xavvi Jointly Launch GLOBE365: Exploring New Global Business Models for AI Short Dramas and Film/TV E-commerce

Connecting directors, influencers and celebrities, brands, and fans with the cross-border consumer market through AI-generated content
Los Angeles, California, USA. iFeng North America and Xavvi have jointly launched the GLOBE365 Global AI Film & Video Creative Competition and an integrated film-and-e-commerce platform. The initiative invites global submissions of AI-generated films, AI-produced short-form series, and related creative projects. Centered on AI content generation, the platform connects directors, influencers and celebrities, AI production teams, fan voting, brand sponsorships, product placement, and cross-border e-commerce sales, aiming to explore a new film industry value chain that bridges content creation with commercial monetization.
A New Path for AI Short-Form Series Commercialization
As generative AI accelerates its application across stages such as script development, visual design, storyboarding, video generation, post-production, and multilingual distribution, the efficiency of film and video content production continues to rise. However, for many creators, securing consistent project resources, brand partnerships, and commercial returns remains a core challenge within the AI film industry. Meanwhile, brands are seeking content marketing methods that are more natural and narrative-driven than traditional hard advertising, while also offering trackable conversion results.
GLOBE365 aims to bridge the long-standing gap between content production and commercial monetization. Rather than simply hosting a competition for AI short-form series, the platform builds comprehensive commercial film projects around each entry, fostering collaboration among creators, actors, production teams, brands, fans, and product suppliers.
A Complete Project Lifecycle: From Concept to Release
On the GLOBE365 platform, directors can initiate film projects by submitting story outlines, character profiles, target audience details, and creative proposals, while opening recruitment to influencers, celebrities, and AI production teams. Influencers and celebrities can apply to star in projects based on their personal image, fan demographics, and content style; AI production teams can submit their toolsets, portfolios, and delivery plans to collaborate with directors on producing trailers and final works.
Once projects pass the review of the organizing committee and professional judges, they enter the trailer showcase and fan voting phase. The platform employs a hybrid selection mechanism for director proposals, combining fan votes (40%) with professional jury evaluations (60%). Once a project meets the required threshold for registered votes, the platform opens bidding for exclusive title sponsorships and product placements, prioritizing commercial resource support for works that have garnered significant market attention.
Under current platform rules, bidding for a project begins once it reaches 10,000 valid registered votes. Brands can bid for exclusive title sponsorship of a project or for specific product placement slots. Title sponsors receive brand exposure and direct links within the content; product placements are organically integrated by directors based on characters, settings, and plot—brands cannot force changes to the core story for the sake of commercial collaboration—thereby balancing commercial value with narrative integrity.
From Traffic-Driven Content to Tradable Content
Unlike traditional short-drama platforms, GLOBE365 integrates e-commerce capabilities directly into the design of its film and video projects. Once a project launches, viewers can navigate from specific scenes, products used by characters, or brand links to e-commerce channels like TikTok and Amazon to learn more about and purchase the featured items. The platform tracks order sources via compliant promotional links, providing brands with a traceable path from content exposure and user clicks to actual sales.
All feature films and short dramas are showcased on the Xavvi film and social platform. Fans can generate personal promotional links after completing required sharing actions while watching; promoters earn a 5% commission on valid orders that meet the platform's attribution and settlement criteria. Through this mechanism, fans evolve from passive viewers into active participants in the distribution and sales network.
The platform aims to establish a clear value chain: directors and creators handle storytelling and aesthetic expression; influencers and stars provide character appeal and social reach; AI production teams supply technical capabilities; brands and suppliers contribute commercial resources; and fans participate in project selection and promotion—ultimately creating sustained value for all participants through traceable product transactions.
A Collaborative Film and TV Business Ecosystem
For directors and AI creators, GLOBE365 offers a comprehensive gateway covering everything from project showcases, casting, and production collaboration to brand partnerships. For influencers and celebrities, the platform enables them to evolve beyond mere disseminators of traffic into characters within the productions, co-promoters, and active participants in the commercial ecosystem. For AI production teams, real-world film and TV projects serve as a stage to demonstrate their technical expertise and delivery capabilities.
For brands, AI short dramas represent not only a new advertising medium but also a novel consumer scenario that bridges brand storytelling, product experiences, and cross-border sales. Brands can decide whether to participate based on factors such as the production's genre, target market, cast influence, and fan voting results, thereby mitigating the uncertainties associated with ad placements based solely on view counts.

For fans, the platform integrates viewing, voting, sharing, and consumption into a unified experience. Fans can participate in selecting directorial concepts, support their favorite actors and storylines, and—following the official release—apply for or secure opportunities to assist in promotion, thereby forging a tighter link between the content community and the commercial network.
Moving forward, GLOBE365 will continue to recruit directors, screenwriters, influencers, AI production teams, brands, and suppliers worldwide, gradually expanding its capabilities in multilingual content production, international distribution, and cross-border e-commerce collaboration. The platform will focus on original stories with global appeal, as well as consumer brands and products suitable for joint promotion via short-form dramas, social media, and e-commerce channels.
Through this platform, iFeng North America and Xavvi aim to elevate AI-driven film and video from mere technical showcases and one-off content consumption to comprehensive project collaboration, brand partnerships, and global commercial operations. The goal is to transform AI short dramas into a new type of commercial vehicle that connects creative talent, social influence, and the global consumer market.
