Panorama City, California, USA. 7th June, 2023. Neon artist Lisa Schulte and LABA Blue-chip artist Jiannan Huang announced their collaboration at a press conference at Lisa Schulte's Nights of Neon studio in Panorama City, California. The two artists will collaborate and work together to create a new art piece, a neon sculpture based on the bold and vibrant paintings by Jiannan Huang.

The two artists first met during a video conference at the Los Angeles Beverly Arts (LABA) Icon Awards last year. As master artists, they both look forward to embarking on this creative journey together. While the two artists have not yet met in person, they are communicating through interactive exchanges and video conference, as Huang is located in Beijing, China, and unable to travel right now. As Lisa Schulte previously communicated to Huang, "Your skillful brushwork, vibrant colors, and intricate textures will serve as the foundation for this sculpture, providing a solid and visually captivating base from which I can expand upon. Your artistic vision and mastery of painting techniques will bring depth and artistry to the sculpture, creating a harmonious interplay between the painted elements and the neon accents."
