Manhattan Beach, California, USA. 27th October, 2023. The opening reception for "Legacy: Honoring Homeira Goldstein's History with the Manhattan Beach Art Center" was held at the Manhattan Beach Art Center in Manhattan Beach, California. The event was a tribute to Homeira Goldstein, an avid collector, philanthropist, and champion of arts, for her contributions to the art world, and the instrumental role she played in shaping the Manhattan Beach Art Center. Curated by Manhattan Beach Cultural Arts Supervisor, Eric Brinkman, the exhibition was a rare opportunity for the public to view art pieces from her private collection, many of which have not been previously shown. The exhibition also showcases artists from previous exhibitions: Cosimo Cavallari, Roxy Paine, Lynn Aldrich, Simon Ouwerkerk, Lita Albuquerque, Matt Wedel, Deborah Oropallo, Peter Shelton, Nellie King Solomon, and Ed Moses, among others.

Since its inception in 2001, the Manhattan Beach Art Center has been a showcase of creativity and artistic expression. As a visionary curator, Homeira has organized over 30 exhibitions at Manhattan Beach Art Center. Her commitment to make art accessible to the public has been a mission in her artistic and curatorial journey, to form a bridge between art, artists, audiences, and the community. She is the Chairman of the Board for TIME4ART, an educational art foundation, and has served on the boards of many of the most prestigious arts and cultural organizations including USC Roski School of Art and Design, TIME4ART, Music Center CDA, Wende Museum, Fellows of Contemporary Art, Rand Corporation, LACMA, OTIS College of Art and Design, Getty Visual Arts Educational Program, and the Los Angeles Arts Council.
