Los Angeles, California, USA. 12th November, 2022. Joey Zhou, founder of the Los Angeles Beverly Arts (LABA), was interviewed by 3-time Emmy award-winner Jacqueline Lewis of Bionic Buzz at his studio in Los Angeles, California. They discussed the founding of LABA, the launch of the LABA International Art Festival in 2020, and the many activities of the organization.

When asked about why he decided to establish LABA, Mr. Zhou stated that after being a TV host for many years and interviewing many celebrities, artists, scholars, and gallery owners, he decided that he wanted to do something for artists, especially during the pandemic when they were all at home creating their own works. The LABA International Art Festival and The Beverly Arts Online Exhibition was launched on October 28, 2020 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, with many artists participating in the online exhibition during that time.
