Los Angeles, California, USA. 12th December, 2025. Christine Jardin-Sourgen is a French multidisciplinary artist whose work is inspired by the islands of the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean. Drawing primarily from nature and dreams, her work explores the emotional impact of color and material, as well as the interplay of movement and light. Her Island Collection has been on display at Ma Petite Galerie, a private art gallery she opened in Bayonne two years ago, located near the Atlantic coast in southwestern France. Since the early 2000s, she has received support from various French cultural institutions.

Jardin-Sourgen has exhibited her work at the Klein Werkstatt gallery in Berlin and at the A Part gallery and Thuillier gallery in Paris’s Marais district. Her art has attracted the attention of industry professionals, leading to her selection for the International Triennial of Contemporary Art, held on the rooftop of the Grande Arche in Paris. When she travels to the islands, she collaborates with exceptional venues, including the Oberoi, Shandrani, and Dinarobin luxury hotels in Mauritius.

In 2008 and 2009, the French Embassy presented her creations in the French Pavilion at the prestigious INDEX Exhibition in Dubai. Her piece Fresh Waterfall (2008) was notably showcased there, catching the attention of the Saint Régis Hotel in Dubai, which later exhibited her artwork as well.

Upon returning to France in 2014, she co-founded Vitrine, a contemporary art collective located at 65 rue Notre-Dame de Nazareth in Paris. She also collaborates in a creative duo with her artistic partner on an expansive, evolving work titled "Body Instrument" (www.body-instrument.com). "Body Instrument" is an artistic research program launched in 2014 that draws on the interdisciplinary approach of transhumanism, the question of augmented humans and their impact on our contemporary lifestyles.
