Singer Chris Mann performs at Feintstein's at Vitello's Supper Club


Studio City, California, USA. 20th December, 2022. Chris Mann, singer/songwriter who is perhaps best known for his appearances on the television singing competition, The Voice, performed his "ChristMANNmas!" concert to a sold-out crowd at Feinstein's at Vitello's Supper Club in Studio City, California. His holiday-themed performance included a mix of popular songs from his albums, holiday classics, and musical parodies that showed off the comedic side of his talents. Special guests were Andy Vargas, lead singer for the legendary band Santana, and singer Brenna Whitaker of The Brenna Whitaker Little Big Band, who both performed and did a finale with Mann at the end of the show.

Mann is also an actor with many credits to his name, and has covered a wide range of roles on film, television, and stage. He was personally cast by Sir Cameron Mackintosh and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber as "The Phantom" in The Phantom of the Opera's 25th Anniversary Tour, where he performed over 700 performances throughout North America, and was hailed as “the best Phantom since Michael Crawford.” During the show, Mann took a break from his set and asked the audience if they had any requests - "Phantom of the Opera" was the song they most enthusiastically requested.

Mann has performed with the National Symphony for President Barack Obama, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., New York City's Christmas at Rockefeller Center Concert, and his own symphony tour across the country. On television, he has performed on Ellen, The Today Show, Conan, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and The Late Late Show with James Cordon. He was also one of the original members of the Dalton Academy Warblers on the hit TV show Glee.

Mann shared some of his musical parody videos and showed his "Christmas Now 2022," his holiday version for this year. These are videos that he makes himself and dominated the internet during the pandemic in 2020. With over 300 million views, Mann’s self-shot videos provided much-needed laughs during that time, and his parodies have been featured on news outlets all over the world including CNN, NPR, Today Show, BBC News, Vice, Funny or Die, The LA Times, The New Yorker, and many others.

The show ended with Andy Vargas, Chris Mann, and Brenna Whitaker singing "Silent Night", and to a standing ovation from the audience. Mann will be appearing on television for New Year's on NBC Today with hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, who will kick off New Year’s Eve with a two-hour special, "A Toast to 2022!", on December 31st at 8 pm ET/PT.


One of the guests in the audience was TV host Joey Zhou, founder of the Los Angeles Beverly Arts (LABA), who interviewed Chris Mann for channel 62.3 five years ago. Zhou also shared some of the show with LABA Blue-chip artist Jiannan Huang, who was a former judge for The Voice of China, Hebei Province. He congratulated Chris Mann on a wonderful and much success in the New Year!

Feinstein's at Vitello's Supper Club is located just above Vitello's Restaurant in Studio City, California, featuring live and streamed performances including jazz, cabaret, musical theater, and comedy. It is also home to singer/pianist Michael Feinstein, who is best known for his style and passion for The Great American Songbook.

Jiannan Huang is one of the world's finest artists, specializing in Western oil painting and Chinese ink. He is ranked third on the 2020 Hurun China Art List and 19th on the Hurun Global List with sales of $29 million. Jiannan holds several positions - Director of the Chinese Traditional Culture Promotion Association, member of the French National Artists Committee, art consultant for the World Low Carbon Cities Alliance, and France Jiny City Gold Medal Honorary Citizen. He was awarded the title of "Earl" by the Indonesian Royal Family. In 2021, he was given an honorary membership into the Royal Society of St. George (RSSG), California Branch, and received the RSSG "Master of Arts" Award and the LABA Most Influential and Most Valuable Artist Award in 2022.

Lena Evans received the Presidential Volunteer Lifetime Achievement Award and stated: "When you volunteer and you know that helping others is your life, you don't expect to be recognized for it. You don't expect any compensation or recognition. But it's wonderful to be recognized for your volunteerism because then you become a beacon and a symbol for others, and inspire them to help also."
