After a month of intense preparations, the event began with a Hollywood-style red carpet for the arrivals, created by JLM Productions. Aris Qun Ai, the designer of the Aris.A fashion brand and President of Shennel and Garrison Haiying Shen, Vice President of Shennel welcomed the 300 guests that included Princess Karen Cantrell, Chairman of the Royal Society of St. George California Branch, Mayor Michael Cacciotti, City of South Pasadena, Ike Khamisani, President of the United Nations of the USA, Inland Empire, Harrison Engle, filmmaker and President of Signal Hill Entertainment Group, Todd Williamson, artist and former Chairman of the West Hollywood Art and Cultural Affairs Committee, Debby Jou, philanthropist and President of the US Art Bank, Sandra Tung, Chairman of the US-China Exchange Promotion Association, and Lincoln Liu, Senior Business Consultant for Shennel.

The Shennel Aris.A 30th Anniversary Celebration and Awards Ceremony officially kicked off with spectacular fashion show of Aris.A designs directed by M3/JMK Modeling Media Academy President, Julie Shen. The models that graced the stage were led by international model/actress Dustin Quick, who wore a variety of spring, summer, autumn and winter fashions featuring fine beading, embroidery, and delicate handwork.
The show hosts, Joey Zhou and Dustin Quick, introduced Shennel Trading Group to the audience with a video, "Shennel Aris.A 30th Anniversary Celebration," produced by Zhouzheng Art Studio. The video told the story of Aris Qun Ai and Garrison Haiying Shen, the two founders of Shennel Trading Group, and how they built an international company that has achieved success in the clothing industry for the past 30 years.

Mr. Shen delivered the welcome speech to the audience, and expressed his appreciation to all the guests who came to the Shennel Aris.A 30th Anniversary Celebration and Awards Ceremony. During the dinner and throughout the evening, guests enjoyed the entertainment and performances by talented and award-winning artists. Grammy Award-winner singer/entertainer, Stephanie Spruill, opened with a stunning performance of two well-known songs, "Summertime" and "Fever."

Their main customers are fashion boutiques and chain store brands located internationally. They have over 2,600 fashion boutiques in the United States alone. The awards ceremony started with first round of awards being given to Madalyn Coviello and Griffin Craig Williams, two Aris.A agents, that were presented by Harrison Engle, LABA Icon Awards co-Chariman. Immediately afterwards, Su Wang Xiulan, on behalf of San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman and Senator Bob Achuleta, presented congratulatory certificates to Aris Qun Ai and Garrison Haiying Shen in recognition of their achievements with the company.

Dian Yu, a dancer from Dian Art Center, performed "Gloomy Dunhuang," a dramatic modern dance with flowing red and black chiffon skirt as she moved and turned across the stage. The second round of awards was presented by Ike Khamisani, President of the United Nations of the USA, Inland Empire. The Senior Staff Awards were given to Michelle Liu, Frank Wang, Jenny Yuan, and Jose Oropez. The Outstanding Manager Awards were given to Jessica Gonzalez, Tammy Lee, Cindy Monroe. The Outstanding Contribution Awards were presented to Jenny Lee and Lu Tong. The final award for Outstanding Leader was presented by Todd Williamson to Jing Xu, the Managing Director of Shennel. She gave an enthusiastic speech and graciously thanked everyone for being a part of the success of the organization.
Joey Zhou, Master of Ceremonies, introduced a touching story of Aris Qun Ai and Garrison Haiying Shen with their Florida agent, Mr. Kaplan, who was their agent for many years and recently passed away. Singer/tenor, Jianli Tian performed the songs, "Grateful" and the Italian classic song, "'O Sole Mio.“ A cultural dance "Wave" was performed with colorful streamers and beautiful costume by Dian Yu from Dian Art Center.

The third round of awards were introduced with a video that congratulated the Shennel founders on their success - art master Shaoguang Ding, "Truly Rhe" boutique owner Rhe Potrnza, internationally renowned TV personality Yue-Sai Kan, QVC's Jennifer Kirk, three-time Oscar winner Paul Ottoson and Oscar film performer Karen Han, boutique Louisiana Mary Jane Johnson, the owner of the small town clothing boutique, Barry Simon, the President of the United Nations Association of the USA, Southern California Division, Jiannan Huang, the overseas artist representative of the Beijing Winter Olympics Committee and the rotating chairman of the LABA International Art Festival. The "LABA Icon Award-American Culture Award" was presented to Ms. Aris Qun Ai by Princess Karen Cantrell, Chairman of the Royal Society St. George, California Branch.

In her acceptance speech, Aris Qun Ai thanked the members of the LABA awards committee, Senator Bob Archuleta, advisor Su Wangxiulan, Hollywood producer/director Kim Holland, Julie Shen of the M3/JMK Model Media Academy, the Shennel staff, her family, and gave special thanks to Joey Zhou, the chief director of the show and Master of Ceremonies. As a surprise, her two young grandsons, Nicolas Liu and Lawrence Liu played classical piano pieces by composers Johannes Brahms and Frédéric Chopin. Subsequently, world-class pianist, Yongmei Hu, performed a classical piano piece by composer Sergei Prokofiev followed by "Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon" in a Chinese style.
