Shennel Trading Group Celebrates 30th Anniversary at the Pacific Palms Resort

Rancho Cucamonga, California. 6th December, 2022. Shennel Trading Group, founders of the Aris A. fashion brand, announced the celebration of their 30th Anniversary at the Pacific Palms Resort on December 30th in the City of Industry. Aris A specializes in silk and velvet garments for women in contemporary and vintage-inspired prints and designs, many featuring fine beading and beautiful embroidery handwork. On December 6th, the 30th Anniversary Gala committee held an organizing meeting at the Shennel Trading Group headquarters in Rancho Cucamonga. The committee members included Qun (Aris) Ai, President of Shennel Trading Group, Haiying (Garrison) Shen, Vice President of Shennel Trading Group, Jing Xu, Managing Director of Shennel Trading Group, Joey Zhou, Master of Ceremonies (MC) and show director, Dustin Quick, show co-host, Julie Shen, President of M3/JMK Modeling Media Academy, and others.

In 1992, Qun (Aris) Ai and Haiying (Garrison) Shen founded Shennel Trading Group and set up their own clothing brand Aris A. In 1994, they established a location in the City of Industry, California as importers and wholesalers of women's clothing. Currently, most of their products are sold and distributed under the Aris A label to well over 2000 boutique and specialty stores across the United States. Throughout the years, they’ve added new and exciting novelty knits, bold prints, and contemporary designs to bring customers upscale looks for everyday wear. In such a fast-pace industry, their company is keen in keeping up and staying ahead of trends that are changing season after season so that their customers have something new to look forward to each year.

In the year 2001, they moved into a larger warehouse facility in Ontario, CA to accommodate their growth, and later moved their offices again to a warehouse facility in Rancho Cucamonga where they are currently located. Ms. Ai and Mr. Shen have worked together for the past 30 years to create an international clothing brand that has continued to grow and expand successfully into North American and European markets. They have established relationships with leading retailers including Nordstrom's, Chico's FAS, Urban Outfitters, Stein Mart, QVC shopping network, major catalogs, and continue to work with other well-known fashion brands. Shennel Trading Group is not only supplier of fashion apparel to the industry, but also a designer label under the Aris A brand, and have created fashions for Hollywood celebrities such as Cher, Charlize Theron and Kelly LeBrock.

The celebration event will feature a fashion show with models wearing the Shennel/Aris A. fashions on the catwalk directed by Julie Shen, President of M3/JMK Modeling Media Academy. The performers will include Four-time Grammy winner singer/entertainer Stephanie Spruill, soprano singer Maisui, world-class pianist Yongmei Hu, and there will be Italian songs by Jianli Tian. The MCs will be TV host Joey Zhou, and model/actress Dustin Quick. Presenters include Princess Karen Cantrell and filmmaker/director Harrison Engle.

Mr. Zhou, the MC and show director was interviewed by the media. When asked about the event and his role as show director, he gave more details about the event. Mr. Zhou stated:

"As you all know, I am a well-known TV host and founder of the The Beverly Arts, the Los Angeles Beverly Arts (LABA) International Art Festival, and the LABA Icon Awards. I am honored to join with Shennel Trading Group and their team on producing their 30th Anniversary Celebration event. As a theme, we are not only celebrating their anniversary, but also the bringing in of the new year with international performers, Shennel and Aris A fashions, and a reunion of friends, family, and joy for the holidays. We have invited Four-time Grammy award winner Stephanie Spruill to perform, soprano singer Maisui, world-class pianist Yongmei Hu, and will have Italian songs by Jianli Tian to add many international colors to the party. There will be world-class professional dancers and fashion show with selected fashions from Shennel/Aris A's clothing line. Although I have been a TV host and MC for many years, this year we invited filmmaker/director Harrison Engle who has worked on seven Oscar Awards events to be a general consultant for the team. Model/actress Dustin Quick will co-host with me who walked the runways of Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and has appeared in many movies and TV shows. Presenters will include Princess Karen Cantrell, Chairman of the Royal Society of St. George California and Honorary Chairman of the LABA International Art Festival, and Harrison Engle.

During the meeting, LABA Blue-chip artist Jiannan Huang from the Jiannan Huang Art Studio made a congratulatory call to Shennel from his Beijing studio, and told the 30th Anniversary Celebration Gala committee that he will provide 10 sets of commemorative prizes representing the Beijing Winter Olympics for the event.
