The Los Angeles Beverly Arts (LABA) Icon Awards were held at the Luxury Gala 2026 Academy Awards Viewing Party at the Hilton Hotel in Universal City, California. The LABA Icon Awards brought together an accomplished group of artists and entrepreneurs for an evening of elegance, entertainment, and recognition of outstanding achievement.

The LABA Icon Awards were hosted by TV host Joey Zhou, founder of LABA, and Dr. Theresa Velazquez PhD, radio host and multimedia journalist. LABA guests included director Harrison Engle, Sir Laurent Khaiat, Professor Lingyun Xiang, Robert Lobel, Danielle Nowak, Jackie Chang, and Joe Wang.

LABA Lifetime Achievement Award

The winner of the 2026 LABA Lifetime Achievement Award was Calia Lin, an entrepreneur and philanthropist in the healthcare industry. She is the founder of ISEGSTAR and her charitable contributions have supported health initiatives worldwide. She was also honored as the 2026 LABA Charity Ambassador.

Luxury Gala 2026 Academy Awards Viewing Party

The Luxury Gala continued throughout the night with a viewing of the 98th Academy Awards, a multi-course dinner,  entertainment, fashion shows, and an awards ceremony to honor those who have made significant contributions in their fields.
