Antonello Ristorante Hosts Italian Cooking and Fashion Night with Chefs Antonio & Fiorella Cagnolo

Santa Ana, California, USA. 16th November, 2019. It was an evening of Italian cuisine and fashion hosted by Chefs Antonio & Fiorella Cagnolo at Antonello Ristorante at South Coast Plaza in Santa Ana, California. Featuring a live cooking show and fashions by designer Camilla, guests were treated to a four-course Italian dinner with each course being prepared as they enjoyed the meal and complimentary Hello Kitty wine.

The fashion show featured Australian designer, Camilla Frank, showing her fashion line of colorful kaftans and casual wear with models from JMK Modeling Media Academy. CAMILLA has a store located in South Coast Plaza and over twenty boutiques throughout Australia. The CAMILLA brand has a high-profile fan base including Oprah, Miranda Kerr, and Beyonce.

The night began with a red carpet and ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the night and a gift basket to take home with a box of Giorgio Armani chocolates, bottle of Hello Kitty wine, Hello Kitty olive oil, and package of Hello Kitty pasta. The Master of Ceremonies was TV host Joey Zhou and some of the guests included Dr. Sun and wife Zehra Sun, attorney Lisa Smith with husband Glen, Robert Lobel and wife Clara, artist Eva Chi Zhou, Yanyu Zhou and husband Bin Yang, Julie Ping Shen and Mindy Li from JMK Modeling Media Academy, and philanthropist/art collector Bernard Franklin.

The dinner featured Italian seafood dishes including: Insalata di Mare, Gnocchi alla Vongole, Sogliola in Cartoccio, and Cherries Jubliee for dessert:

Insalata di Mare

Marinated calamari, salmon, sole and Argentina shrimp served over Bibb lettuce, drizzled with organic olive oil, and fresh squeezed lemon.

Gnocchi alla Vongole

Ricotta dumplings served with Italian zucchini and fresh Manila clams.

Sogliola in Cartoccio

Lemon sole baked in parchment paper with baby heirloom tomatoes, zucchini, and organic olive oil served with seasonal vegetables.

Cherries Jubliee

Cherries simmered in Grand Marnier sauce and flambéed over homemade vanilla gelato.

There were raffle tickets sold with skin care products donated by MD Sun and fashions from CAMILLA which added excitement to the night. Antonello Ristorante is celebrating its 40th year in Orange County during the month of November and guests were treated to a special evening of food, wine, fashion, gifts, and recipes to take home.
