On behalf of the LABA International Art Festival, Princess Karen Cantrell, the rotating chairman of the LABA International Arts Festival, sent formal invitations to nominate the finalists for the LABA MIMV Global Top 20 List.

At 12:00noon on Thursday, September 29th (3:00am China time on Friday, September 30th), the representatives for the jury of the LABA International Arts Festival and the LABA-MIMV Organizing Committee will meet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, and countdown for the 2021-2022 LABA-MIMV runoff vote will begin.

Richard Wearn, Professor of Art at the University of California, Los Angeles, and member of the LABA International Arts Festival Jury Presidium stated:

"I am very excited that the LABA International Arts Festival, which has been working over the past two years, has finally ushered in a new result. On September 29th, I and representatives of the jury from all over the world will select the "2021-2022 LABA-MIMV" Global Top 10 Artists at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The reporter asked: "As one of the presidium of the jury of the LABA International Art Festival, how did you establish your selection criteria?"

Professor Richard Wearn:

"First of all, the selected artists must have been shortlisted in the Beverly Hills "2021-2022 LABA International Arts Festival's Most Influential and Most Valuable Artists" Global List of the Top 150 artists. The list was announced to the world on September 28th, 2021, which includes some outstanding artists who are already well-known internationally. As long as they have been shortlisted for the "LABA Icon Awards" by the LABA International Art Festival on October 28th, 2020 through August 28th, 2022, these Top 20 artists are also included in the jury selection.

To be selected, the artist must demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to his artistic creation and have exhibited widely in various respected venues. The artist must create works of art that are innovative and novel in the field. The artist's work has to have a clear purpose. The artist must demonstrate professionalism in the field of fine art, and have a generous spirit and positive message to enhance the human experience. The artists must also be accredited by an institution, government entity, or other important cultural institution and clearly invest in their own work, not just focus on personal interests. The artist's work must transcend national or political ideologies, but address the broader concerns of all of humanity.

It has been two years since the LABA International Arts Festival held its kickoff at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on October 28th, 2020. Joey Zhou, the founding chairman of the LABA International Arts Festival, said:

"In the beginning, our LABA International Art Festival has always insisted on using an international vision, professional vision, mainstream interaction, commercial operation, and authoritative support to carry out a far-reaching international art and cultural event. We have been persistently putting forward. We strive to discover and bless the future of the most influential and valuable artists in the world.

I am very excited for the selected artists and want to thank all the other talented artists who participated. I also want to express my best wishes to the family of one of the artists selected who sadly passed away in June 2022, Karin Brauns. Karin Brauns was a talented female artist from Sweden who was selected for the Top 20. We send our warmest congratulations to her friends and family, and will be honoring her memory with her award.

Here is the 2021-2022 LABA International Art Festival "Most Influential and Most Valuable Artists" Global Top 20 List - the list is not ranked, but in alphabetical order:
