Madam President, Ladies and Gentlemen, members of the LABA International Art Festival Committee and to all the participants in this wonderful inaugural year of the LABA International Art Festival.
First of all, I wanted to thank LABA for the honor and friendship you have shown me by accepting me as a jury member for this year’s festival.
The LABA International Art Festival in Los Angeles is certainly an important moment for this prestigious American city. During this festival, it brings together many personalities from the world of the arts, from the four corners of the earth.
As a French artist with a close relationship to artists located around the world, I know how much rapprochement and friendship between artists is important for the future of humanity and for the world. The LABA International Art Festival and certainly a meeting that confirms this need, especially in this difficult period, which we have just experienced.
This health crisis has shown us how united we are all across the world and how much art, and especially painting, is a vehicle of thought that transcends language to make us feel the need for peace and harmony.
I send all my best wishes to the 2021-2022 LABA International Art Festival, hoping to be with you in person at an upcoming event.
Thanks to everyone!
Sincerely,
Rémy Aron
